Alright I registered here under my YouTube name to sort of come clean about that last e-mail I sent you. Here’s the thing. I probably wouldn’t call you smug bastards and have been in the joke if it weren’t for the fact that you presented yourself as smug bastards in your Q & A videos by saying that your opinion is the only one in the games industry that really matters. If that’s supposed to be a joke then it’s one that people can really take seriously since it was used just after answering a bunch of badly spelled comments from obvious haters and trolls. Y’know, the usual YouTube affair? And then going as far as to directly insult them in retaliation. Also some of the reasons you hate certain games that you’ve reviewed are either very biased claims or just lack credibility as whole. (ex: your reasons for not liking the Fire Emblem games are mostly based around common factors in strategy and RPG games in general)
So combine that with what you were saying in the previous podcast and you can kinda see why I was a bit angry about that. But at least you were good sports in responding to it. Sorry if there’s any hard feelings but perhaps if Newbs didn’t sell himself on YouTube as one of the more pretentious gamers I’ve met on the internet in recent years, I probably wouldn’t have snapped at you guys and lumped you all together. No offense but part of running a game website is to not stoop to the levels IGN does when you present your opinions. That’s all.
