World of Warcraft cougar arrested upon return to Texas
Lauri Price, that 42 year old woman who travelled to Canada to meet up with her 16 year old World of Warcraft soul mate, has been arrested upon her return to Texas.
Price was arrested Tuesday morning when she arrived at a place depressingly called Bush Intercontinental Airport. Canada’s age of consent is 16 and, as such, Price was sent home without charge, but in the repressive land of Texas where true love is for straight white landowners only, the age of consent is 17.
Price has been charged with “two counts of on-line solicitation of a minor and one count of child enticement.” This, despite Price being lied to by her life partner Andrew Kane, who told her that he was 20. Harris County prosecutor Eric Devlin, the man apparently plotting to punish Price for her journey of sexual discovery, points out that “the (online) chats they have are incredibly sexually explicit… She talks about all the big things she’s going to do to him sexually.”
In situations like this, it’s important to remember the victim. Andrew Kane is a 16-year-old WoW addict, this was his only chance to get laid, possibly ever. Now, he’s been robbed of that opportunity by his moralizing parents and the police of two nations.
