Tucker Carlson wages war on intellectualism
Stephen Colbert once profoundly stated “reality has a well known liberal bias.” It’s a problem that conservative spinners like Fox News wrestle with all the time, and they ensure that their followers don’t wake up and start learning things themselves by attacking intellectualism. Lucky for Fox, a new study has emerged which apparently demonstrates that getting a Bachelors degree makes you more liberal, creating a perfect opportunity to further eschew higher education and keep the masses dumb and unaware of their corporate enslavement.
The above video is a rather unsurprising clip of some Fox News personalities, most notably Tucker “Bow-tie” Carlson, ranting about the need for more “diversity” among professors. Carlson expresses what he believes is a need for a more balanced divide between liberal and conservative teachers. It’s a great example of a conservative furthering the delusional notion of a false equivalency between liberals and conservatives. Sorry Tucker, but socially liberal professors are the way they are because they’re smart enough to understand the arguments for and against issues like abortion and gay marriage, and to have developed logical positions on those subjects.
