The Sonic Cycle begins again: Sonic Colors teased
The next issue of Nintendo Power is set to reveal yet another, presumably shit, entry in the Sonic the Hedgehog series, this one’s called Sonic Colors.
The front page of the magazine teases “Sonic’s solo space adventure for Wii and DS!” I guess SEGA feels confident enough in their New Super Mario Bros. Sonic knock-off that they’re already willing to start marketing their next Mario rip-off title before Sonic 4 even comes out.
The released first page of the magazine’s write-up of the game claims “One of gaming’s biggest icons looks to get back on track with Sonic Colors. No gimmick necessary. FRESH CANVAS.” It’s good of Nintendo Power to admit to the terror of Sonic’s previous games, but hyping his latest entry in the 3-D realm seems like a cruel abuse of the blue hedgehog’s few remaining fans.
