Splinter Cell Conviction: sucking balls across the world

Anyone who’s ever tried to play a Splinter Cell game with the intention of having fun rather than proving the “maturity” of their gaming habits can tell you that the franchise sucks large and saggy balls. Now, several instances of concrete proof have emerged which may be used to mock X-Bots with ease.

The game launched on 360 with broad-sweeping freezing problems caused by Live connections

Then there was acting legend Michael Ironside, the voice of Sam Fisher himself, revealing his own lack of interest in the series.

Now comes word that Ubisoft didn’t exactly hire the smartest marketing company to promote Conviction in New Zealand. It seems someone thought they could sell some copies by wrapping their hands in bandages and waving a fake gun around. Visitors to a popular bar district didn’t react very well, and police arrived ready for a shoot out.
