RUMOUR: 3DS this October

Mysterious sources within the UK games industry have informed CVG that Nintendo’s successor to mana from heaven, known as the 3DS, will be launched this October.

That would come as a real surprise, considering Nintendo’s original announcement only stated that the device would be out by March 2011. Christmas had certainly seemed possible, but we may be experiencing depth-perception Mario even two months ahead of that.

CVG predicts wildly that 10/10/10 is “surely a front runner” as a launch date.
