RUMOUR: 3DS coming out in North America Spring 2011
According to that accessory designer we heard from a few days ago, the 3DS will be coming out in Japan on November 20th. That idea was further backed up yesterday when news broke of Japanese newspaper Asahi Shimbun Nippon reporting that Paper Mario 3DS would be sold before the end of the year in Japan.
Now, EA itself has slipped and given out a clue about the 3DS launch in North America. The company briefly claimed that their 3DS launch game My Garden would hit North America in the Spring of 2011. That date was quickly taken down from the game’s official website.
It’s really starting to sound like we’ll be looking at a Christmas 2010 launch of the 3DS in Japan, and a Spring 2011 launch for North America. Nintendo’s September 29th media event can’t come soon enough.
Wasn’t it practically confirmed by Nintendo at e3 that it would be a march release?
