Every once in a great while, an advertising campaign or spokesperson will break through and actually amuse, like Mazda’s Zoom Zoom kid. Well, maybe he just broke through for me. In any case, few have ever reached the astounding level of “penetration” achieved by Old Spice’s recent campaign featuring the suave Isaiah Mustafa.
The company of manly male fragrances put their newly minted mascot in a series of videos responding to celebrities, internet celebrities, and other Twitter-using questioners. The responses have hit YouTube with astounding force and pretty much taken over the most viewed page.
