NPD Group releases September sales numbers

United States game sales took a tragic shift in September, with the dishonourable PlayStation 3 usurping the mighty Wii, 491.8K to 462.8K. Analysts (me) remain bullish on Wii, however, with the highly anticipated New Super Mario Bros. Wii coming in November. The game is sure to annihilate this futile attempt from Sony to take back the market they never rightfully controlled in the first place. The 360 sold a puny 352.6K, further proving its irrelevance.
Proud DS still steamrolled the shameful PSP, 524.2K to 190.4K.These numbers bring hope to your followers, Nintendo. Your dominance in the handheld space maintains a small sliver of hope for me in humanity.
