Massive breasts rewarded for excellence: Lara Croft getting road named after her
Despite Lara Croft playing a prominent role in the PlayStation’s rise to power in the ’90′s, I can’t help but feel a little pride in hearing the news that a new road in Derby, England will be named “Lara Croft Way.” She may have hurt Nintendo, but she helped video games.
It seems Croft was invented in Derby, and the city has decided to honour its most famous export (right ahead of Florence Nightingale). The city held a vote in which over 27 000 people participated, and the results were staggering: 89% wanted the new road named after treasure hunter and archaeologist, tomb raider Lara Croft. I can’t quite figure out if this was an online poll, but the results certainly indicate that it was.
Obvious jokes:
Now anybody can take a ride on Lara.
Can’t wait to ride those speed bumps.
Something about directions involving “go down on Lara Croft.”
An innumerable amount of innuendos involving stick shifts and crankshafts that I don’t understand.
