Hugo Chavez calls PlayStation “poison”
It’s not uncommon to hear ignorant politicians attacking video games as a whole, failing to recognize that within the industry there are forces for both good and evil, but Hugo Chavez has demonstrated a more refined understanding of gaming.
Chavez, the usually crazy President of Venezuela, recently had a moment of clarity in which he declared “those games they call ‘PlayStation’ are poison… some games teach you to kill. They once put my face on a game, ‘you’ve got to find Chavez to kill him.’”
The socialist leader, who commonly dresses in a fashion suspiciously similar to Mario, has come to recognize the PlayStation brand as the nefarious monger of such unholy products as “cigarettes, drugs and alcohol.”
