Fox News tries to stop lying/making mistakes

November 25, 2009 News No Comments

Fox News has been, for a long time now, making mysterious little mistakes that all happen to make Democrats look bad and Republicans look good. They’ve famously stuck the “D” for Democrat beside the names of many humiliated Republicans, for example. With the rest of the media finally catching on to the little scheme and pointing out, for instance, that footage of the 9/12 protest happened to be interspersed with footage of the healthcare protest on the network.

Now, Fox has decided to go on the offensive against the more blatant parts of its own propaganda machine, and issued a zero-tolerance policy for such “mistakes.” A recent staff memo at the network indicates that such instances will now be met with serious consequence, potentially even termination.

Unfortunately, the kinds of mistakes outlawed in the memo surely do not cover the airing of Glenn Beck’s program.
