Summer ‘09 To-Do List: Week 14

I’m now on week fourteen of my Summer ’09 To-Do List. Here’s the weekly update.

Currently Pursuing:
7. wake up so early that I can run with impunity
37. don’t be lazy
64. expand the Shufflingdead empire
75. learn how to ride a bike

I’ve decided that summer will end with my 16th to-do list update. That means that after this post, I will only have two weeks to complete my 80 remaining goals. I’m going to cut my losses on some of the bigger goals, and just do as many of the smaller ones as possible in a goal-completing flurry.

Ongoing Goals:
1. write every day
11. get in good enough shape to fuck with impunity
14. make more money than God and then become God
27. don’t spend any money until I’m rich
36. don’t succumb to The Man

While I’m sure that when things conclude I’ll be able to cross #1 off the list, I’m becoming rather confident that some of these other ones will not be done in time.

Goals Completed this week:
16. become a video game ninja
23. clean out my porn folder

I’ve decided to give myself #16 because of a stunning Tetris accomplishment. I played for 75 minutes and reached 1347 lines. My final score was 3,127,721

As you can see, I played for 75 minutes and got 1347 lines! I could have kept going too; I forced myself to stop in order to escape the time-draining nature of the activity.
